Leaning T Performance Horses-Colt Starting

We specialize in starting 2 and 3 year performance horses. We base our program on creating a solid foundation from the first ride, to give each horse the best chance at succeeding in their future career. We have a cowhorse background, but most of our colts go on to the barrel or roping pens. While we will go to some shows or events to provide experience for the ones ready for it, competition is not our focus with clients’ horses. Our focus is on giving the young ones the correct start. We prepare your horse for the next level of training, and they leave us physically and mentally ready for the next stage of their career.
We only take a limited number of horses in training at a time to ensure each horse gets the individual attention that they need. We are active WPRA and PRCA members, and will often spend the summer months in Wyoming and Idaho. We have had clients choose to send colts with us for more exposure when we travel up north, and that is always an option for future clients.
