Looking for a prospect on a budget? Leo is your ticket. He has a slow start no fault of his own. He just finished 90 days with Belus Horse Training to get fully started. He had a few rides before going to the trainer. Even though he just finished 90 days, he needs more miles before being ready to start on the barrel pattern. His owner started a new career and doesn’t have the time to finish out a horse. Leo is bred to run barrels but could be a good breakaway prospect as well due to his size.

We do recommend at least a confident, handy experienced rider for Leo, he is testy and will take advantage of timid handlers and riders.

He loads and hauls well considering he hasn't been much, stands for the farrier, good for vet work. He does need his teeth done every 6 months as he had a tooth grow in incorrectly and needed it surgically removed (surgery done summer of 2025). He is up to date on vaccines, dental and farrier work (barefoot, never been shod).
