This guy is bred to be a barrel horse, and he’s going to look flashy doing it! Chrome, flaxen mane, and looks like he’ll probably express the rabicano gene. Very friendly and willing. Pasture raised with occasional stays in the barn for refreshers on basics. Stands right at 14 hands right now. Sire and dam are both tall, but this cross tends to produce a foal with less height, so as a guess I’d say he’ll finish closer to 15 hands. Paid in full to Future Fortunes and eligible to run at Colorado Classic and VGBRA. Current on deworming and feet, and has a current negative coggins.
His sire, Vitalio (LTE $34,000+) is a proven barrel horse that has pro rodeo earnings, and is a 5x CePRA and 4x KPRA finals qualifier. He is still sound, still competing, and still winning!
His dam, Kateniss, is by the great Rare Bar and out of a Race ROM producing daughter of Mitey Easy Dash. Kateniss was going in the barrel pen and roping pen prior to a career ending injury. Her oldest foals are in training and we’re getting great reports. This will be that last foal offered by her as we unfortunately lost her earlier this year.
