Flaming Hooch, Gelding

17 year old gelding. Paid into Future Fortunes. 15.2 bay that was extensive barrel race and rodeo experience. We have owned Hooch for 18 months. He was a youth rodeo horse with his first owner, BBR horse with second owner and High School Rodeo horse for us. He mainly runs barrels, but has ran poles in the past with his previous owner. He would be best categorized as a free runner, and this horse does not hit barrels! The arena is his “on switch" and he will keep it on when you are in there. This horse knows his job and just wants to do it. He will fall asleep at the gate watching the other riders, and then when it’s his turn, it’s GO TIME! He is not hot at the gate, but once he is at the gate he is balls to the wall to the first barrel.

Amazing on the ground. Stands tied, great for the farrier, stalls well and is not spooky at all. He has a very calm and sweet demeanor. He also loves trail riding! He wants to be in the front and will set a brisk pace. He does not spook on trails and will go through anything. Walks right through water and over logs and other obstacles. He has also been in parades. ***May be willing to trade for push-style or one that also competes in poles.***
