Dawn Perry

Gus (Dawn Perry) is a 15-year-old registered Appendix that stands 16 hands. No real quirks: stands quiet for the farrier, loads/unloads with no issues, absolutely no gate issues. Can be a little buddy sour. No bite, buck/ rear or maintenance required. Currently runs barefoot but has run in shoes before. He is a gentle giant but has a HUGE motor. Gus is a free runner which just doesn’t fit our young daughter’s riding style, and this is the only reason we are selling him. He does have cloudy eyes, but that does not affect his ability to run barrels. He knows his job and wants to run! With our daughter, he does tend to run better in an indoor arena. With a different, physically stronger rider, this may be different. He has run at lots of youth rodeos and a handful a barrel races, big and small pens, indoor and outdoor.
Gus is NOT beginner’s horse!
He is registered with the American Appendix Horse Association.
